尤金·摩尔·休梅克（1928年4月28日－1997年7月18日），美国天文学家，行星科学领域的奠基者。
1997年7月18日他在澳洲因为车祸身亡。
1998年7月31日他的部分骨灰被放上了月球探勘者，月球探勘者于1999年7月31日撞上月球结束任务，他是至今唯一葬在月球的人。
存放休梅克骨灰的容器刻上了休梅克－利维九号彗星、巴林杰陨石坑的图片。并有罗密欧与茱丽叶中的一段话：
“And, when he shall die
Take him and cut him out in little stars
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
And pay no worship to the garish sun.”
