区别辨析humid、damp、moist与wet

humid、damp、moist与wet这些形容词均有“潮湿的”之意。

humid : 正式用词，特指空气与天气的潮湿，相对湿度大。

• New York is very hot and humid in the summer.
  纽约的夏天炎热潮湿。

  炎热而潮湿的气候

damp : 指吸进或覆盖着一点水份，常表示潮湿得使人不舒服。

• The grass is still damp.
  草还有些潮湿。
• This shirt still feels a bit damp.
  这件衬衫摸上去还有点儿潮乎乎的。
• It was a damp, misty morning.
  那是一个潮湿而又雾气蒙蒙的早晨。

moist : 指微湿，侧重不干，但并非湿得使人不快。

• Keep the soil in the pot moist, but not too wet.
  让花盆中的土保持湿润，但不要太湿。
• This cake is nice and moist!
  这个蛋糕很好吃，非常松软！

wet : 普通用词，指各种潮湿的状态。
