又到了一年一度的中秋佳节，嫦娥、玉兔、赏月、吃月饼是我们所耳熟能详的事情，今天就来说说这些在英语中应该如何表达。
一、中秋节
The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night, corresponding to late September to early October of the Gregorian calendar with a full moon at night.
每年的阴历八月十五是中国的传统节日中秋节：
- The Mid-Autumn Festival: 中秋节，一定要记得不是middle，而是mid。
- Lunar calendar: 阴历，luna是月亮的意思，阴历就是以月亮的月相周期安排的历法。
“阳历”用英语这样说：
- Gregorian calendar:/grɪˌgɔ:riən/ 阳历
读起来有困难，你也可以直接说：
- Western calendar: 西方日历，阳历
二、嫦娥
有一个美丽的传说和中秋节有关——嫦娥奔月：
- Chang E: 嫦娥
- Goddess: 女神
月宫中有一只玉兔常伴嫦娥左右：
- Jade rabbit: the rabbit appeared in the Moon. 月兔，玉兔。
嫦娥的丈夫是射下九个太阳的大英雄：
- Houyi: 后羿
- Archer: 弓箭手
嫦娥喝下了不死之药后飞向了月宫：
- Elixir:/ɪˈlɪksɚ/ 长生不老药，万能药
- Secret potion: 神秘的药水
- Immortality: 不朽，长生不老
关于“长生不老”英文里有一个说法是：
- Fountain of youth: 长生不老泉
- Have you found the fountain of youth? 你找到长生不老的方法了吗？
三、中秋团圆
对于中国人来说，中秋节是一个和家人团聚的日子：
- Family reunion: 家庭团聚
中秋节的月亮又大又圆，我们会和家人一起吃月饼、赏月：
- Full moon: 满月，月圆之夜
- Enjoy the moon: 赏月
- Savor the moment: 尽情享受这一时刻
四、各种各样的月饼
每逢中秋节，总绕不开“月饼”这个话题：
- Moon cakes：月饼
- Red bean paste: 红豆沙
- Lotus paste: 莲蓉
- Five nuts: 五仁
- Custard: 奶黄
- Salted duck egg yolk: 咸鸭蛋黄
- Savory mooncakes: 咸月饼
- Pork mooncakes: 猪肉馅月饼

月饼的皮可以叫做:
- Pastry: （食物外皮的）油酥面团
江浙一带的月饼外皮酥脆掉渣:
- Flaky: 薄而易脱落的
每逢中秋佳节，各种好吃的月饼高价难求，会出现很多卖月饼的黄牛：
- Scalper:/ˈskælpər/ 黄牛
